Apple CarPlay was once only included in super high-end luxury vehicles. These days consumers are demanding that car makers include this audio/visual entertainment system into all new vehicles. Apple CarPlay gives users the ability to connect any of their smartphone devices after iOS 7.0 instantaneously. All Apple devices that are running that OS or anything newer than a gen 5 iPhone will be able to connect to CarPlay.

All standard iPhone features can be controlled using CarPlay. That means you can ask Siri for a good restaurant or directions over your car speaker system. In addition, the uptake time for your phone to be connected to your car is significantly lower than traditional cords or over the air digital signals.
